
New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- Kitchenware startup Cumin, grocery startup Anmasa and jewellery maker Nuyug have pocketed funding in separate venture capital-led rounds, according to the companies.
Cumin Co
Kitchenware brand Cumin Co has raised $1.5 million (around Rs 13 crore) in a strategic investment round led by Fireside Ventures with participation from Huddle Ventures. The startup will use the funding to scale R&D, accelerate product innovation, and strengthen manufacturing capacity, while building its direct-to-consumer online presence, it said in a statement. Founded by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi in 2025, Cumin Co offers kitchenware products that it claims are toxin-free and durable. It has three patents for its enamel-cast technology and its proprietary Enviromax 4-layer enamel coating for enamel cast iron kitchenware.
Anmasa
Grocery startup Anmasa has raised $1.1 million (around Rs 9 crore) in a pre-seed funding round
The fundraise was co-led by Snow Leopard Technology Ventures, Veltis Capital, Blume Ventures, and Indigram Lab, along with participation from several angel investors. The Gurugram-based startup intends to use the funds to scale operations, expand categories, and strengthen its presence in staples and grocery markets. Founded in 2024 by Milkbasket founder Yatish Talvadia and Shailendra Upadhyay, Anmasa focuses on freshly processed kitchen essentials such as cold-pressed flours, wood-pressed oils, and spices.
The company operates via an omnichannel model and offers 90-minute online deliveries to customers. At present, the startup mills from five retail stores, with plans to launch five more by mid-September.
Nuyug
Jewellery brand Nuyug has collected Rs 2.5 crore (around $280,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC, a pre-seed fund founded by Aviral Bhatnagar, with participation from other strategic angel investors.
The startup, which offers jewellery focused on celebration wear, will use the capital to strengthen its online and offline presence, broaden its product range, and invest in research and design innovation to enhance material quality and durability. Nuyug, founded in 2024 by Ankur Dua and Manali Thareja, is a masstige jewellery brand that offers pieces designed for weddings, festivals, and social gatherings. Masstige, a portmanteau, describes a category of products that claim to be of high-quality offered at affordable prices.
