New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- French IT services major Capgemini said Tuesday it has agreed to acquire Cloud4C, a Singapore-based managed cloud services provider owned by CtrlS Group that has offices in Navi Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Capgemini said the acquisition, which is anticipated to finalise in the upcoming months pending regulatory approvals, will enhance its hybrid cloud and SAP capabilities by merging Cloud4C's expertise with Syniti's data solutions. It didn't disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

Founded in 2014 by Sridhar Pinnapureddy, who also heads CtrlS Datacenters and CtrlS Group, Cloud4C has expanded to a workforce of 1,600 employees operating in 29 countries. The firm specialises in automation-driven hybrid and sovereign cloud services, AI-ready platforms, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and compliance tailored to specific industries. Additionally, it serves as a global premium partner for SAP in S/4 HANA Cloud.

"Cloud4C has an outstanding history in large-scale cloud transformations, attributed to its advanced, highly automated AI platform and processes," said Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini.

"This acquisition will enable the Group to champion gen AI-powered cloud automation platforms, coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions that we know our clients want and need across the world," he added.

Pinnapureddy said the collaboration with Capgemini would facilitate the scaling of Cloud4C's cloud migration and management frameworks more effectively to address global client demands.

The Cloud4C acquisition comes only a month after Capgemini announced the acquisition of IT/BPO firm WNS for $3.3 billion in July. The WNS deal is expected to be closed by the end of 2025.
