New Delhi, July 6 -- Alternative asset manager and wealth management firm 360 One has strengthened its investment banking leadership by hiring a senior executive from Kotak Mahindra Capital after an association spanning nearly two decades, VCCircle has learned.

360 One, which was formerly known as IIFL Wealth Management and was demerged from IIFL Holdings (now IIFL Finance) in 2019, has appointed Vishal Bandekar as managing director and head of corporate finance of 360 One Capital.

360 One Capital advises companies on equity and debt capital markets, private capital raising, structured finance and mergers and acquisitions.

The appointment comes as 360 One continues to expand its capital markets and investment banking franchise amid a steady pipeline of equity capital market transactions, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Bandekar spent more than 18 years at Kotak Mahindra Capital, where he most recently served as managing director for equity corporate finance. During his tenure, he advised companies on capital raising and equity market transactions across sectors.

"After an enriching and rewarding journey of over 18 years at Kotak Investment Banking, I am delighted to share that I have joined 360 One Capital as Managing Director & Head-Corporate Finance," Bandekar said in a LinkedIn post.

"I look forward to this exciting new chapter at 360 One Capital and contributing to the firm's continued growth," he added.

Bandekar is a chartered accountant and company secretary by qualification. Before joining 360 One, he spent his entire investment banking career at Kotak Mahindra Capital.
