India, Oct. 30 -- For a weapon to be truly "Made in India," it must be seamlessly integrated into indigenous platforms like the Tejas LCA. MBDA is facilitating this by ensuring weapon systems are "platform agnostic" or specifically tailored for integration into Indian made aircraft. By providing the software hooks and integration protocols to Indian defence scientists (DRDO), MBDA ensures that the synergy between the airframe and the weapon is optimised locally, fostering a domestic capability to integrate complex electronics and weapon systems.
