India, Oct. 26 -- The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies), India's leading developer of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, has placed a firm order with Hensoldt for its flagship "e200X". For Hensoldt, the order confirms the shift from joint development to series maturity, moving the avionics into firm procurement. The "e200X" now enters an extensive ground test campaign ahead of flight trials and type certification with India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
