India, Aug. 29 -- Every two years the Belgian Air Force takes the opportunity to present its aircraft and crews to the general public during the so called Belgian Air Force Days. This year was no exception and in the weekend of 27-28 June 2026, the doors were opened at Florennes air base in the south of the country. That this base was selected for the 2026 edition of the Air Force Days, which was also the mark stone of the 80 years air force anniversary, was no surprise as you can find here the unit that is the 1st user of the F-35A in the Belgian AF. Next to that, the base is also host of the new Belgian MQ-9B "SkyGuardians", a remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS).
