GANDERBAL, April 8 -- Continuing its sustained drive against unauthorized service providers in the tourist destination of Sonamarg, Ganderbal Police conducted a special enforcement operation under the jurisdiction of Police Station Sonamarg.

During the drive, one individual identified as Muzafar Ahmad Khatana, son of Gh. Nabi Khatana, resident of Sumbal Bala Gund, Ganderbal, was found operating at the tourist resort Sonamarg using a forged license. Acting promptly, Police took cognizance of the offence and registered FIR No. 04/2026 under relevant sections of law, at Police Station Sonamarg.

Investigation into the matter has been initiated.
