, Jan. 22 -- GANDERBAL: In a move aimed at strengthening livelihoods and improving post-harvest management, the District Administration Ganderbal on Wednesday distributed ice boxes among fish farmers under the Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP) at Mamer Kangan
A total of 30 fish farmers were provided with ice boxes to help reduce post-harvest losses and improve the quality of fish supplied to markets. On the occasion, live demonstrations were also conducted at the spot to educate beneficiaries on the effective use and maintenance of ice boxes for better storage and transportation.
