WOMEN'S SOCCER RALLIES LATE TO WIN OVER LEHIGH 2-1

NEWARK, N.J., Aug. 23 -- New Jersey Institute of Technology issued the following news release:

The NJIT women's soccer team rally late in 2-1 win over Lehigh for the Highlanders first win of the season on Sunday Afternoon.

After trailing 1-0 at the break, the Highlanders scored twice in the second half to earn their first victory of the 2026 season and improve to 1-1-1 on the year.

The Mountain Hawksopened the scoring in the 30th minute to take the early 1-0 advantage.

NJIT responded in the second half, with freshmanTaylor Stuartscored her first collegiate goal to tiethe match in the 54th minute. Stuart finished a feed from freshmanPaige Eckertto bring the Highlanders even at 1-1.
