Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today voted in support of H.R. 7008, the Stop Insider Trading Act. This legislation aims to prevent Members of Congress from using their positions and nonpublic information to benefit financially from purchases or sales made on the U.S. stock market. The legislation also includes measures to strengthen voter ID laws nationwide.
