CARSON CITY, Nev., Aug. 17 -- Western Nevada College issued the following news release:
For early childhood educators who have dreamed of opening a childcare center or turning
their experience working with young children into their own business, Western Nevada
College is offering a course this fall designed to help turn that idea into a plan.
BUS 198: Entrepreneurship in Early Childhood Education combines two important skill
sets: caring for and educating young children and understanding what it takes to successfully
operate a childcare business.
The course will introduce students to the fundamentals of starting and managing a
high-quality childcare program, including business planning, licensing, budgeting
