For the third year in a row, WKU is among the nation's top performing institutions in the Boren Awards program. All seven of WKU's applicants were offered awards this spring, dramatically outpacing the average selection rate of 32% nationwide and tying WKU's previous record set in 2024.
The Boren Awards program is sponsored by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), a federal initiative designed to build a broader and more qualified pool of U.S. citizens with foreign language and international skills.
