GEORGETOWN, Texas, Oct. 13 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
Churches, service clubs, nonprofits, businesses and other organizations are invited to learn how they can help people affected by disasters at the next Williamson County Disaster Alliance meeting. The meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, on the second floor of the Williamson County Georgetown Annex, 100 Wilco Way in Georgetown.
The Williamson County Office of Emergency Management created the Alliance to help organizations coordinate their efforts to meet disaster survivors' needs. So far, 32 organizations have joined.
