GEORGETOWN, Texas, Oct. 7 -- Williamson County issued the following news release:
Williamson County continues to address growth in the county with construction starting on the expansion of Ronald Reagan Boulevard Segment D1.
This segment of Ronald Reagan Boulevard includes construction of a new two-lane roadway between RM 2338 (Williams Drive) to CR 245 that is separated by a median from the existing lanes. This new road will serve as the southbound lanes of Ronald Reagan Boulevard with the existing roadway becoming northbound only. Construction on the project kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
