U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.) released the following statement after the Senate voted unanimously to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and FEMA without funding for ICE and parts of Customs and Border Protection:
"Vermonters made their voice clear: no more ICE or Border Patrol funding unless reforms are made. This unanimous vote by the Senate to fund everything but ICE delivers on that promise.
