Today, U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine (both D-VA) announced that they are currently accepting congressionally directed spending (CDS) requests (https://www.kaine.senate.gov/congressionally-directed-spending) for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27). Since 2021, the senators have secured over $650 million in CDS for projects that upgrade infrastructure, expand affordable housing and health care, boost economic development, and more.
