U.S. Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-VA) joined 21 of his Senate colleagues in pressing the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service for more information about problems identified in an internal report on the National Trail Program.
"We write with strong concerns regarding a December 2025 report published by the U.S. Forest Service on the status of the U.S Forest Service's National Trail Program," wrote the senators.
