Walkinshaw (VA-11), a member of the Oversight and Government Reform and Homeland Security Committees, led a group of lawmakers in calling on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General and the Intelligence Community Inspector General to conduct a thorough and independent investigation into an incident involving then-Acting Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Dr. Madhu Gottumukkala's reported failure of required counter-intelligence polygraphs and the subsequent suspension of career staff.
