Today, Congressman Tim Walberg (MI-05) recognized Jim Gillis of Niles as the Veteran of the Month for January, presenting him with the Congressional Record containing his remarks honoring Jim's service and legacy.
Jim Gillis served for 21 years as a Military Policeman (MP) within the United States Army. He achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class and deployed repeatedly with some of America's finest Brigade Combat Teams and Divisions.
