VALDOSTA - A new season of discovery, discussion, and lifelong learning kicks off Aug. 31 when Valdosta State University welcomes members of the community back to campus for Learning in Retirement. Registration is underway.
A member-led and VSU-sponsored organization, Learning in Retirement offers area residents 50 years of age and older more than 70 opportunities to learn something new during Fall Semester 2026. The program lineup features special events, excursions and tours, topics that are simply "good to know," and classes in the areas of health and fitness, fine arts, literature, games, leisure, arts, crafts, history, social studies, and science....
