U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) yesterday spoke on the Senate floor urging the House to swiftly pass the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act, which he introduced with a bipartisan group of his colleagues to hold major purchasers of Russian oil and gas accountable for supporting Russia's war in Ukraine. The legislation, the result of an agreement negotiated by the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and the White House, passed the Senate by a vote of 86 to 11.
