Yesterday, H.R. 6644 the Housing for the 21st Century Act, which includes key provisions secured by Congresswoman Nydia M. Velazquez (D-NY) to expand access to affordable housing through cooperative ownership models while strengthening Congressional oversight to protect tenants in federally monitored public housing authorities, passed in the House of Representatives.
