Today, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and U.S. Representative Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.), joined by Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.), introduced the National Transit Frontline Workforce Training Act, legislation to support and expand the Transit Workforce Center, a national training center that prepares American workers for specialized, good-paying jobs in transit industry sectors facing employee shortages - such as maintenance and operations.
