For Rushika Muradi, a junior at The University of Texas at Arlington, a family experience sparked a passion for cardiovascular research that is now shaping her future career goals. Muradi took significant steps toward fulfilling her dream this summer as one of five students nationwide selected for the prestigious Cardio-SURPh summer research program at Loyola University Chicago.
"It was an incredible learning experience that allowed me to gain hands-on exposure to cardiovascular research and develop my research skills," she said.
