ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,826, issued on June 30, was assigned to Zoox Inc. (Foster City, Calif.).
"Adaptive multi-vehicle data transmission" was invented by Muhammad Umar Choudry (Seattle), Paul Orecchio (Denver), Meredith James Goldman (Redwood City, Calif.) and Ravi Gogna (San Jose, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A vehicle can connect to multiple vehicles and can determine network metrics (e.g., available bandwidth, latency, signal strength, etc.) associated with the multiple vehicles and at least one cellular network.
