ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,367, issued on April 14, was assigned to Zoox Inc. (Foster City, Calif.).

"Determining point locations based on road segment approximations" was invented by Lakshay Garg (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Joona Markus Petteri Kiiski (Cupertino, Calif.).
