US Patent Issued to Zhejiang Yangshengtang Institute of Natural Medication on Dec. 16 for "Cherry plum tree named 'Farmer 6-10'" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. PP37,152, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Zhejiang Yangshengtang Institute of Natural Medication Co. Ltd (Zhejiang, China).

"Cherry plum tree named 'Farmer 6-10'" was invented by Qiong He (Xinjiang, China), Zhiqiang Bai (Xinjiang, China) and Xiaobo Cheng (Xinjiang, China).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The new cherry plum variety 'Farmer 6-10' is characterized by having an open tree posture, and red colored, soft-textured fruits with yellow colored flesh."
