US Patent Issued to Zephyros on July 21 for "Structural bonding adhesive" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,686,740, issued on July 21, was assigned to Zephyros Inc. (Romeo, Mich.).

"Structural bonding adhesive" was invented by David Kosal (Romeo, Mich.), Michael Czaplicki (Romeo, Mich.) and Yuan Lu (Romeo, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A material comprising an epoxy/elastomer adduct, a polymeric particle, from about 0.05 to about 20 weight percent of an epoxy/diacid adduct, and optionally, an amine reaction product."

The patent was filed on Nov. 27, 2024, under Application No. 18/961,600.
