ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. D1,140,877, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to Yamaha Robotics Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) and Tokyo University of Science Foundation (Tokyo).

"Vibration plate for non-contact handling jig" was invented by Hiroshi Kikuchi (Musashimurayama, Japan), Hayato Hishinuma (Musashimurayama, Japan) and Masaaki Miyatake (Tokyo).
