US Patent Issued to Yahoo Assets on Aug. 11 for "User profile filtering based upon sensitive topics" (California, Virginia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,705,292, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to Yahoo Assets LLC (New York).

"User profile filtering based upon sensitive topics" was invented by Sanika Shirwadkar (Milpitas, Calif.), Nils P Schimmelmann (Mountain View, Calif.), Jeffrey T Wilson (Ashburn, Va.) and Chun-Yi Tu (San Jose, Calif.).

A set of candidate topics labeled with sensitivity labels corresponding to whether candidate topics are sensitive topics or non-sensitive topics are generated.
