ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,539,077, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to WR Medical Electronics Co. (Maplewood, Minn.).

"Apparatus and method for using a portable thermal device to quantify pain perception" was invented by Kyle A. Maloney (Stillwater, Minn.), E. Paul Maloney (Stillwater, Minn.) and Christian M. Darling (Minneapolis).
