ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,555,649, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to WORLDWIDE INNOVATIVE NETWORK (Chevilly-Larue, France).

"Prediction method and gene signatures for the treatment of cancer" was invented by Vladimir Lazar (Villejuif, France) and Shai Magidi (Gan-Yavne, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to methods for predicting the clinical outcome or the response of a patient suffering from cancer to an anti-cancer therapy based on novel gene signatures."

The patent was filed on Oct. 7, 2021, under Application No. 18/030,782.
