ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,678,599, issued on July 14, was assigned to World Vascular Inc. (Eden Prairie, Minn.).

"Medical guidewires for tortuous vessels" was invented by James Pokorney (Northfield, Minn.) and Matthew F. Ogle (Edina, Minn.).
