US Patent Issued to WOOBO TECH on July 14 for "Powered head restraint" (South Korean Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,263, issued on July 14, was assigned to WOOBO TECH Co. LTD. (Pyeongtaek-si, South Korea).

"Powered head restraint" was invented by Hae Il Jeong (Incheon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a powered head restraint for vehicle seat back. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a powered articulated head restraint for vehicle seat back moving back and forth without a combination of guide pins and guide holes or a combination of guide pins and guide long holes."

The patent was filed on Sept. 23, 2022, under Application No. 18/838,184.
