US Patent Issued to Whirlpool on May 12 for "Ice-making compartment for an appliance" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,624,883, issued on May 12, was assigned to Whirlpool Corp. (Benton Harbor, Mich.).

"Ice-making compartment for an appliance" was invented by Sarah M. Galea (St. Joseph, Mich.), Jacob C. Ickes (Stevensville, Mich.) and Vikas C. Mruthyunjaya (St. Joseph, Mich.).
