ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,751,917, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to VeraMorph LLC (Mansfield, Mass.).

"Hydrogels as oral delivery dosage forms, methods of making and using same" was invented by Paul Douglas Godfrin (Quincy, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Method of manufacturing, and use of cross-linked polymeric hydrogels as final dosage forms for the oral delivery of compounds with nutritional and/or therapeutic value, including but not limited to supplements, cell-based therapies, and active pharmaceutical ingredients."
