ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,596,811, issued on April 7, was assigned to Varonis Systems Inc. (New York).

"Threat intelligence systems" was invented by Lior Chen (Tel Mond, Israel), Amir Belgi (Ra'Anana, Israel), Ron Sneh (Atlit, Israel) and John Eugene Neystadt (Kfar-Saba, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A threat intelligence system utilising language models to generate queries for external threat intelligence systems, receive and filter responses, and generate alerts and reports using further language models."

The patent was filed on April 22, 2024, under Application No. 18/642,552.
