ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,238, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Van der Knaap Diensten B.V. (Kwintsheul, Netherlands) and Triqua International B.V. (Ede, Netherlands).

"Method and system for providing plants with water comprising a high nitrate content" was invented by Carolus Wilhelmus Maria De Bruijn (Monster, Netherlands) and Arnaud Marinus Aart Duine (Wageningen, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a method for producing water having a stable high nitrate content, an organic fertilizer comprising the water having a stable high nitrate content thus produced, and use of the water having a stable high nitrate content...
