ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,623,180, issued on May 12, was assigned to UT-BATTELLE LLC (Oak Ridge, Tenn.).

"Intensified carbon capture using building infrastructure" was invented by Kashif Nawaz (Oak Ridge, Tenn.), Brian A. Fricke (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) and Xin Sun (Oak Ridge, Tenn.).
