ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,182, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA (Tampa, Fla.).
"Compositions and uses thereof for treatment of idiopathic preterm birth" was invented by Charles Lockwood (Tampa, Fla.), Ozlem Guzeloglu-Kayisli (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), Umit Ali Kayisli (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) and Frederick Schatz (Tampa, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are compositions and methods for delaying or preventing idiopathic preterm birth."
