ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,525, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to University of Pittsburgh-of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education (Pittsburgh) and The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Conjugates comprising AAVs and CAS9 polypeptides" was invented by Leah Byrne (Pittsburgh), Bilge Esin Ozturk (Pittsburgh) and Timothy Day (Berkeley, Calif.).
