ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,384, issued on May 13, was assigned to University of Houston System (Houston).
"Narrow green-emitting phosphors" was invented by Jakoah Brgoch (Houston) and Ya Zhuo (Houston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are phosphors of the formula: (A1-xEux)(Ba1-ySry)B9O15, wherein the variables are as defined herein. Methods of producing the phosphors are also provided. In some aspects, the present disclosure provides light-emitting devices comprising these phosphors."
The patent was filed on July 23, 2020, under Application No. 17/629,194.
