ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,902, issued on April 14, was assigned to UNIVERALS DISPLAY Corp. (Ewing, N.J.).
"Organic electroluminescent materials and devices" was invented by Rasha Hamze (Philadelphia), Tyler Fleetham (Yardley, Pa.), Hsiao-Fan Chen (Lawrence Township, N.J.), Steven Kit Chow (Mount Laurel, N.J.), Thomas Ghebreghiorgis (Claymont, Del.), Huong Nguyen (New Castle, Del.) and Hai T. Le (New Castle, Del.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are organometallic compounds. Also provided are formulations comprising these organometallic compounds. Further provided are OLEDs and related consumer products that utilize these organometallic compounds."
