ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,637,900, issued on May 26, was assigned to ULTRAFAB INC. (Farmington, N.Y.).
"Article of weather stripping" was invented by David M. Loughney (Phelps, N.Y.) and Todd M. Clemons (Canandaigua, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides for an article of manufacture, being an improved weather strip and dust plug. The invention also provides for an apparatus, system and method for manufacturing the improved weather strip and dust plug."
The patent was filed on Sept. 7, 2018, under Application No. 16/125,639.
