US Patent Issued to UCHICAGO ARGONNE on May 5 for "Direct reduction of iron by hydrogen plasma in a rotary kiln reactor" (Illinois Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,618,120, issued on May 5, was assigned to UCHICAGO ARGONNE LLC (Chicago).

"Direct reduction of iron by hydrogen plasma in a rotary kiln reactor" was invented by Zuotao Zeng (Woodridge, Ill.), John P. Kopasz (Bolingbrook, Ill.), Theodore R. Krause (Naperville, Ill.), Angel Yanguas-Gil (Northbrook, Ill.) and Meimei Li (Willowbrook, Ill.).
