ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,665,103, issued on June 23, was assigned to TOTOKU ELECTRIC Co. LTD. (Tokyo).

"Insulated wire, coil using insulated wire, variable-thickness insulating tape used in manufacture of insulated wire, and manufacturing method of same" was invented by Tadashi Yamaguchi (Ueda, Japan) and Shigeo Hayashi (Ueda, Japan).
