US Patent Issued to TOPPAN on Oct. 6 for "Layered gas-barrier product and packaging bag" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,752,990, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to TOPPAN INC. (Tokyo).

"Layered gas-barrier product and packaging bag" was invented by Junichi Kaminaga (Tokyo), Yoshiki Koshiyama (Tokyo), Yumiko Kojima (Tokyo) and Rika Ishii (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a gas barrier laminate including: a paper substrate; a layer including a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin; a vapor-deposited layer; and a layer including a polyolefin having a polar group, in order."
