According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of using a sinus treatment device includes holding a treatment electrode against facial skin at a treatment location associated with reduction of sinus discomfort and/or congestion. The sinus treatment device may automatically detect a treatment location. In another embodiment, the sinus treatment device may be triggered by the user."
