ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,588,774, issued on March 31, was assigned to THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AS REPRESENTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (Washington).

"Inflatable pillow, compartmental pillow, and pillow dispenser" was invented by Suzanne M. Zwerin (Cincinnati) and David A. Parrott (Cincinnati).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A plurality of inflatable pillows. Each pillow has at least one chamber. The chamber defines first and second edges oppositely disposed. Each pillow also has a valve providing fluid communication with the chamber for inflating and deflating the chamber.
