ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,527,880, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).
"Cyanine-based telodendrimers and uses for treating cancer" was invented by Kit S. Lam (Davis, Calif.) and Lu Zhang (Sacramento, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a cyanine modified telodendrimer, nanoparticles thereof, and methods of using the nanoparticles to treat various diseases such as cancer."
